Lake Auburn Watershed Protection efforts and Forestry

 

Erica Kidd is the Watershed Manager jointly employed by Auburn Water District and the City of Lewiston Water Division. She has worked for AWD/LWD for almost two years. As the Watershed Manager, her responsibilities include overseeing the programs in place that protect the water quality of Lake Auburn, such as erosion control projects and forestry management. While working for AWD/LWD, Erica completed the Management Candidate School offered through the Joint Environmental Training Coordinating Committee in Maine. She is currently a member of the Maine Water Utilities Association, and serves on the Water Resources Committee. Prior to working for AWD/LWD, Erica worked for Stantec Consulting in Scarborough as an Environmental Scientist for three and half years. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Ecology and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Studies. She is a Maine native and currently resides in Durham with her husband and rescue dog.
